파티 출판디자인연구소는 디자인을 중심으로 한국의 출판문화와 책지음을 연구하는 과정입니다. 책의 내용과 디자인의 언어가
분리될 수 없다는 생각으로, 출판문화에 대한 다양한 질문을 던짐과 동시에 과거를 살피고 책의 현재와 미래를 모색합니다.

PaTI publishing & design research lab is a course for studying publishing culture and book making in Korea
focusing on design.Based on the thinking that contents and design language of the book cannot be separated,
publishing & design research lab looks into the past by questioning publishing culture and book making
in Korea in various formats and at the same time, looks into the present and future of the book.

–출판디자인 연구과정
책과 관련한 책 생태계 전반에 대한 이해와 조사를 바탕으로, 기획에서부터 출판까지 책 멋지음을 바탕으로 둔 작업 중심의 연구 과정입니다.

–Publishing & design research course
Founded on understanding and research of the overall ecosystem of the book, this is a research course
based on the actual work of book designing from planning to publishing.

–교육 얼개
소규모 출판에서부터 서점 유통 목적의 출판에 이르기까지, 기획과 편집, 디자인, 제작 등 한 권의 책이 만들어지는 모든 과정에 대한
기본적인 학습과 워크숍을 진행합니다. 또한, 출판과 책 디자인 이야기를 확장하는 전시와 세미나, 저널 프로젝트 등을 진행합니다.

–Educational Structure
Basic learning and workshops in all the courses of making one book from planning, editing, design,
and production that are taking place at small publishers from publication to distribution in bookstores.
At the same time, it carries out exhibitions, seminars,and journal projects for expanding publishing
and design based on the book.
